Foundation Recovery Systems (FRS) was founded in 1992 by Jeff and Glenn Martin. The business was based in Sedalia, Missouri serving the western half of the state, including Kansas City. Since then, with the help of dedicated employees and satisfied customers, we have grown to serve greater Missouri and portions of Iowa, Illinois and Kansas. Our headquarters is now located in Moberly, Missouri.

To address the problem of foundations that have settled vertically, FRS uses a patented foundation pier system, a process of securing the foundation with steel piers hydraulically driven to bedrock or equal load bearing strata. This process has a distinct advantage over concrete underpinning in that the weight of the structure is supported by bedrock instead of the soil that has already failed.

FRS also features patented wall anchor system to correct bowed, bulging and cracked basement walls. A steel anchor rod is inserted horizontally through the wall into the outside earth. A steel earth anchor is attached through a vertical hole in the ground and a steel bearing plate secures the rod to the inside basement wall. The installation usually takes one to two days.

Basement water control, a common problem in many homes, is another area of expertise at FRS. We install a subsurface geo-composite drainage system, an engineered alternative to conventional pipe and rock "drain tile", and the end result is a dry basement.

Foundation Recovery Systems installs only engineer designed systems for Steel Piering ... Wall Anchoring ... Waterproofing.

FRS can also raise sunken concrete, (patios, driveways, and other slabs) using the process of mudjacking, to fill underground voids. A process often less expensive than removing and replacing concrete.

The majority of work done by FRS is residential but the list of commercial structures is considerable. Our customers include construction companies, contractors, property management companies, inspectors, and realtors, all seeking remedies for their clients’ foundation problems.
